award6base- How to take care of wigs?

Award6base
The last thing you need is for a wig that you
bought expensively to warp out of shape or for
a wig that usually got people wondering if it is
a wig or weave to lose its shine and allure. In
fact, it would be gross irresponsibility on your
part to allow that happen. Why? Taking care of
your wigs (whether synthetic or human) is
easy and even if you don’t have the time, give
it to a top-notch salon to handle it for you and
follow her advice religiously.
Wash your wig regularly to get rid of the
smells, dried sweat and to restore its glow.
Before washing, brush properly to remove
tangles. Use a few drops of basic shampoo in
a basin of water (cold or lukewarm for
synthetic and human respectively).
Immerse the wig for a few minutes then run
your hands over it gently with a concentration
on areas where it meets your forehead. Drain
out the dirty water and replace to rinse the
shampoo under running water. Blot out the
excess water with a towel, don’t wring or
squeeze.
Next step, you condition it while still wet.
Apply a bit of wig conditioner to your hands
and rub on it. Be careful that you do not rub it
on the cap of the wig as hand tied areas can
come loose. Rinse the conditioner as done
before.
Do not use a hand dryer to dry or under direct
sunlight. Ideally, air-dry it on wig stand so that
it retains its shape and style. You could also
use any cylindrical object instead.
Wash your wig at least every week if you use it
daily. To put it on, grasp it by the ear and flip
on your head, exactly on your hairline.
