Just like Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records has a
Queen, Olamide’s YBNL also has a Queen. The
female artiste has been on the team for a while
now, rocking things the YBNL way. Fans look
at her today the call her a bad girl probably
because of her killer poses when she takes
snapshots. Or her rag dressing which shows
her off to be the female version “Badoo.” Or
perhaps, for other reasons best known to
them.
The YBNL female artiste has been singing
since time immemorial. It is true that nearly all
singers started singing at tender ages. And the
passion drove them to the heights they have
now attained. So the money and fame is not
just a reward for some folks who recorded
random tracks and uploaded them on the
internet. It’s actually for people who have been
in the music hustle since their teenage years.
The YBNL Queen is no different. Some days
ago, she celebrated her birthday. To mark that
day and make it memorable, she shared a
picture of her childhood days where she is
seen grabbing the mic and singing
passionately in school uniform. My guess is
that she may have been singing in some sort
of a secondary school send-off party. But now,
she sings for the world via the YBNL umbrella.
A very big HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO HER.
