“One Dance” wasn’t nominated for Grammy 2016 because of Wizkid – fan says

award
Drake’s hottest song “One Dance” featuring
Nigeria’s Wizkid has been the most streamed
song of the year. Right from the days when the
track was released, it garnered so much love
from fans and online traffic. Unbelievably, the
Grammys didn’t find the song fitting enough
for a nomination. Fans from all over the world
have since been wondering why the track
didn’t get nominated even when it has been
the most streamed song of the year.
All fans hoped the song would be the first on
the Grammy 2016 list, given the attention it
has had since its release. But this development
has been a shocking one for everyone. In
addition to being a shock to everyone, it is a
slap on the talented American singer, Drake.
While fans seem to be at a loss concerning the
possible reasons why the song was not
nominated for the Grammy award, a particular
Wizkid fan seems to think Baba Nla’s voice in
the song is the reason.
Nigerians took to twitter to put up various
reactions to the development, as they hoped
the nomination would make the Nigeria music
industry proud since Nigeria’s Wizkid was
featured in the song. But a particular fan
insinuated that Wizkid is actually the reason
behind the situation. She wrote: “I swear! This
is why Drake reduced the volume on Wizkid’s
part on ONE DANCE.” Can you imagine that?
Wetin she mean sef???
